“I have had a love affair with writing and playing music my entire life. I learned to play the guitar from my father at age 10 and began writing my own music shortly after. After graduating high school from the North Carolina School of the Arts, I went on to attend college at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle WA. During that period I also was the singer and rhythm guitar player for the bands Stilted Destiny, then later Waking Dinsmore. It was then that I fell in love with the process of songwriting and later musical recording after finishing my third solo album. I moved to Nashville Tennessee in 2005 and attended S.A.E. Institute graduating with Honors in Audio Engineering. Later I had the opportunity to work at the world famous Sound Kitchen Studios which is one of the largest recording studios in the country. I worked my way up the ladder to the in-house producer/ songwriter and eventually the General Manager in charge of all studio operations in 2010. I was the GM for Sound Kitchen Studios for almost 10 years when I decided to go freelance and work on only passion projects exclusively. I have since dedicated myself 100% to the tireless pursuit of sonic quality paired with amazing writing, and achieving it with a balanced affordable client service minded approach. I am driven by a passion for teaching and showing my artists what they are truly capable of achieving.”
