Songwriting
Songwriting is the single most important part of music because it is during this process that music receives its soul and identity. You can have an amazing recording, with the best audio gear known to man, a famous production & engineering team, in a world class recording studio environment, but if your songs suck none of that will make any difference. The songs must connect, inspire, and compel your fans to listen and play your creations again and again. As the former GM of Sound Kitchen Studios, I’ve spent countless hours working with artists (from all types of musical styles & skill levels) who want learn or improve their writing.
Songwriting is a life long obsession of mine and I‘m compelled to put down my thoughts and feelings into musical form. Whether this describes you or not, everyone can participate in a writing session. After-all, song crafting is just another form of therapy which allows us to be introspective together in a creative and nonjudgemental way.
