I grew up in Hampstead North Carolina & from an early age had a passion for all things music. My father taught me to play guitar at age 10, also dabbled in trombone, drums, bass, and piano. I naturally gravitated toward singing and attended individual vocal instruction for many years. At age 12, I toured England with the Wilmington Boys Choir, performing at West Minster Abby and other amazing locations. Around the same period, I also worked for Opera House Theater Company in Wilmington acting in many musical productions at Thalian Hall. Towards the end of my junior year in high school, I was selected to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts where I graduated High School, and later continued my education at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. In 1999, I formed the band "Waking Dinsmore" and for the first time started to write my own material. Since then, songwriting has remained a life long love affair of mine. After recording several albums and achieving local success, I relocate to Nashville TN.

In 2009, I decided to study audio engineering at S.A.E. Institute. After graduating with honors, I began an internship at the world famous Sound Kitchen Studios. I worked my way up the ranks as an engineer and later became the GM of the studio. As a multi instrument musician myself, I began to gravitated more toward the producing side of recording.  I discovered that shaping the music, songwriting, coaching, and developing artists was my true passion. I love to produce and convert the music I write into full scale productions that blow away all expectations. Collaborating with the best session players in Nashville never ceases to blow my mind every time.

In May 2013 I was mentioned in the Nashville addition of Mix Magazine for Producing. I also was blessed to be the assistant on a session for the amazing Dolly Parton in 2010's "The year that Dolly Parton was my mother," also recorded at the Sound Kitchen!
